Aqil's first birthday was celebrated with a simple doa selamat on Sunday, 20 December 2009 at Rumah nini Serasa. Quite a number of second cousins (no first cousin yet, the first first cousin will be around in March 2010, InsyaAllah...), aunties, uncles, nenek-nenek and datuks Hajah Tiara of Jangsak, Datuk William with Datuk bini of Sungai Tilong were also at the function. All went all well and the doa selamat was specially recited by Aqil's nini boy.............. Enjoy the pics below.................

Just a few days before Aqil turned 11 months old, ia pandai dah jalan a few steps. We were all very excited and each time is dapat jalan, every body tepuk tangan. The funny thing was that Aqil must start jalan from a point where his mummy was sitting down and completed his "journey" at where his Tua was... really funny......... Tadi babu lawat Aqil di Rimba... sekali tarus-tarus mau ia arah babu... fikirnya kan di bawa bejalan... hu hu..... Muka nya ada merah-merah balik.. but kepalanya ok dah. Lupa babu snap ia punya gambar tadi. He is now 10 months plus...semakin belabih. Ia pandai demo cheeky eyes but tadi ia nada mood coz just woke up from afternoon nap.

On another note bibi Juwiroh of 8 years confirmed dah inda mau balik Brunei. May be she cannot solve her domestic problem di Indon. Biar tia........ Her re entry visa expired yesterday 27 October... sampai hati mu Bi......... but babu inda nangis coz the new maid is very good... sekejap saja ia pandai where to panyap balik our respective baju-bajuan.... and more importantly ia pandai masak jua. Syukur Alhamdulillah.

I think nada lagi kan direport today.... thats all........ chaio..........

Salam every one.... Alhamdulillah the above function has taken place successfully and merrily on Friday, 3 July 2009/10 Rejab 1430. Before the actual event everybody was like nervous expecting that Aqil will be crying all the time takutkan orang ramai.... but..... unexpectedly... he was not! He was the most well behaved baby on earth!! ha, ha..... bisai sesangat anak atu... pandai jaga nama baik keluaraga-keluaraga... good mood through out the day... he enjoyed being blessed with the dzikir and selawat nabi, enjoyed the buburih paste and he had to make three rounds of salam with the guests.... coz we thought that inda payah to the men's group... sekali kena claim... but Aqil sudah salin baju and so he had to wear the casual baju with the dastar but he still looks gorgeous!! Hello.......

Aqil udah besar...... tapi belum tumbuh gigi.... ia makan solid udah. Alternate days... ia makan bubur with veges and Nestle rice nestum. Ia makan twice a day and bising lagi tu.... and he feels like ia kan suap sendiri that he holds tight to the spoon and kunyah-kunyah the spoon.... ada kah...?

Bertiarap pun makin stable udah ia and he moves around looking for anything interesting yang kan dipigangnya. Today.... maybe diorang kan balik Rimba... but babu actually inda suruh but nininya Rimba mau jumpa ia kali... hu, hu.... berabut kan Aqil. If ia balik today meaning that they will not be in serasa till abang balik dari KL on the 24 June... Dui... lupa tia Aqil kan Serasa lagi. Even now... after 4 days udah... Aqil still inda kawan nini boy nya... sian bapa... nada access to Aqil.... berteriak ia tu kalau ia tau yang hold ia atu bapa..... soooooo sombong....... ia inda suka smell bapa kali.... hu hu........

Last night ia main-main di katil babu... babu punya bait was the tv remote control. Ia tah ia pigang and each time ia kan suap ke mulutnya, babu tarik balik... after a while tired ia... and marah tia... Then babu buat ia dalam unggaknya... coz ia macam kan tidur... seklai babu unggak-unggak... inda jua ia tidur. The moment mummy nya masuk bilik after her dinner, he noticed her and he started crying... minta ambil arah mummy nya.... sekali lepas mummynya pigang ia automatic tia baik mood nya...

Aqil punya trick... each time ia boring and minta attention.. ia batuk-batuk for no reason.... macam-macam stail batuk nya... pintar banar anak atu........... he, he...

Sian Aqil... hingusnya bertaburan... batuk lagi tu macam orang tua-tua...... So we decided to take him to see the doc on Saturday.... Macam inda damam saja... excited ia with his day out atu.... relax lagi tu kena check oleh doc atu.. Ia tah doc atu cakap selalunya babies menangis dichecknya but not this very brave Aqil... senyum ia lagi tu.... that was why the doc said Aqil was a happy baby. So ia kena prescribed two types of medicines and ia kena suruh makan Nestle red rice udah... Cheche will try. BTW hie weight on Saturday was 6.61. Now they are in Rimba. They went to Rimba after we attended Fina's moving house doa selamat on Thursday night and we had a reunion with Kaka Nani who "dissappeared" for quite a while due to some unexplained reasons..... he, he......

Look at Aqil's poses on his 5th month birthday..... he is getting chubbier now and he puts anything he can get hold of into his mouth...... not lapar but gusinya gatal.... he, he.... and air liurnya selalu banjir..........

Aqil is now back in Serasa... he arrived last night around 9pm... lupa reset buttonnya... so he looked kehairanan... di sini tah ku lagi... kali nya dalam hati. Babu terus ambil ia... and ia macam tecangang saja... babu bawa naik.. liatkan arah bapa... sekali ho ho ho.... biut tia mulutnya yang kiut ah..... nangis senyaring yang possible....... then diam, main-main.... but macam in bewilderment jua masih.... . Ok... but on and off everytime ia liat bapa... nangis tia lagi... So around 9.30 babu return to mummy nya tia... which actually ia kan tidur. Bapa subuk ia di biliknya....sekali ia jaling and selirik-selirik bapa... siapa kan ni? nya kali ah.... he, he....

Abang Rinan bawa Jilah balik tuition... diorang laju-laju kan datang rumah but when diorang sampai only to find out that Aqil was already Zzzzzzzzz.............

So tunggu today... hopefully he will be familiar and mau main... di malam ada jua senyum but very the little saja senyumnya..... terpaksa disumbat dengan puting nya. BTW abang kena beria-beria dari di malam.......yuckk!!

Kemarin Jilah exam Maths D paper 2. Ia cakap ok... mudahan jua ok.
Afan exam jua... ia gitau babu examnya start on 18 May rupanya on the 11 May udah start. When babu asked napa kau kelakari babu... he said that if ia gitau, babu suruh ia baca saja and ia stressed nya... so babu said inda tah kau baca tu? ... ia cakap baca..... mudahan jua banar... and Science 1 ada udah result nya and he said he got 74. Mudahan banar....Amin.....

Last Sunday bapa, abang Rinan and Afan had their boys day out... diorang jalan-jalan ke Kulapis liat tanah kaka and Ijan.... and tarus arah nini Jangsak, lepak and lunch di sana... babu inda ikut because babu spring cleaning bilik babu and babu jumpa banyak gambar-gambar kamu lama-lama and also surat kaka untuk babu masa babu di UK in 1991 dulu... hu hu..... bida tulisan kaka ah.... he, he.....

Babu was actually looking for stamps that babu mau donate to the 25th Brunei National Day 25000 stamps collection challenge which is open to the public to donate. Babu managed to get some and buat nama Afan as the contributor which bapa has already submitted yesterday at KB. Babu found some more stamps di Ofis babu which babu will donate lagi using Jilah's name. All the contributors names will be acknowledged by the Pejabat Pos. Actually masa babu muda-muda dulu babu banyak collect stamps, some 3 big albums but after berpindah randah, inda tah babu tau lagi di mana tia stamp albums babu atu... sayang......... badge pun babu banyak dulu coz babu rajin exchange with my penpals (he, he... bepenpal kali ah... the old version of friendster... he, he... ) but masa abang sekolah Jigsaw ia pinned all those badges di jacketnya (as he was modelling someone) and dipakainya sekolah... lama-lama... habis tia badges babu atu....

Ok... till Aqil smiles...... bye.....

The cute baby boy Aqil now has his own international Brunei passport. So he can hop out of the country now.... macam c banar bah.. ia begambar di Imigresen ah.... Biometric lagi tu... the third person in the JJ family to own a biometric passport apart from Afan and Cheche.

Right now Aqil is no have in Serasa. He "escaped" last night while babu, Afan and Jilah were out visiting nini Muara at the hospital. Sekali kami balik ia tara lagi... hu hu... rupanya diorang balik Rimba. They bid farewell to bapa but at that time bapa was tiduring as bapa was damam and the moment abang put Aqil on bapa's tummy, bapa wsa like disoriented i.e palau... ah.. apa? nya bapa.... rupanya Aqil ungat-ungat diparut bapa to say good bye... he, he.....

Kaka is leaving for Geneva today... transit an overnight di London masa balik saja. Dorcester yo.... mun ampir dapat jua Ijan melajau ah... but never mind.. inda lagi lama kan balik.... Exam dulu beb!

Tomorrow very early morning bapa and babu have to leave early for KB. So Afan and jilah have to go to school with Arman. Afan will have a farewell lunchtime with his UBD teachers... whom he treats like his friends... while Jilah will have her extra class till 3 pm. So Afan minta buatkan mashed potato with gravy. Mudahan yummy......

Aqil ah... teluan jua manjanya...... baru jua his first visit to the Mall.... tungkal ia... mana jua ia inda tungkal... when they arrived, the ground floor was very very noisy with the fitness promotion and macam party music bah.... Actually bapa, babu, Jilah and Afan arrived first at Bannucha Restaurant atu... while we were ordering the food we heard like a very loud baby cry.... rupanya the arrival of the manja Aqil tah sudah tu..... lama inda liat Aqil... he looked so gorgeous in his new outfit of mickey mouse jacket and the cheeky T-shirt.... cute!!!

Last night was abang Rinan and kaka's treat for us. They said it was a 4-in one celebration namely birthday abang Rinan, wedding anniverssary, bonus and kaka's promotion to AO. Nice food like nasi goreng pineapple, steamed garoupa, pandan chicken, sweet and sour chicken, tom yam soup, kangkung and mixed vege..... babu was not that hungry. So I tried to calm down and distract Aqil's attention so that ia inda nangis... but now and then kan nangis tia saja and it made bapa really stressful that we could not talk loud as ia believed atu yang beri Aqil nangis... ho ho, ho..... At the end of the makan, we had a little cake cutting ceremony.The tiramisu cake was from Fun Bread. After that we did a grocery shopping at Utama Grand and reached home around 10.30 pm. Ampar after isya, and overslept that babu did not join the taici this morning at Pantai Serasa.

Thursday nite, we stayed overnite at KB because bapa was on stand by and Friday nite ada function di Seria. On the way to KB house, we stopped over at London Kebab and bought take home food like humus, shish kebab and something lamb for Afan. Friday... kami keboringan... macam nada kan dibuat...that babu tidur, makan, tidur, makan saja.... Then after Asar we decided to go to Taman Jubli and the beach... but it was very hot that we decided to go to the nearby Seri Kandi for cold drink. Babu bawa duit $10.00 saja... but the menu looked very tempting... and we ordered 2 sets of butter nan with curry and 3 sets of cold drinks, which we have calculated for less than $10.00 with take away lamb beriani... then kami keboringan lagi. So we called bapa... to come over and bapa ordered minuman saja and joined munching the nan... terpaksa tah bapa tambahkan duit kami coz all in all the bill was $10.50. he, he....

With bapa, we went jalan-jalan round KB kampongs..... at the end we enjoyed the day though. After magrib, we siap-siap to go to the function and terus balik Serasa.... Jilah and Afan keboringan di function, he, he... diorang kan minta tinggalkan di Fratini Seria but bapa inda suruh... so they had to bear with the community function but Afan enjoyed the makan though... According to the programme, the function was expected to end at 11 pm but babu texted bapa and asked him to talk to the function chairman to cut the function short. So babu punya strategy worked... after bapa presented the certificates to the committee members, we could leave Seria at around 10 pm and reached home around 11.20 pm not exhausted but sleepy.

Yesterday after school, Afan went to his one-week Form 4 school i.e SMPIHM, Serasa... he joined his former class to celebrate his English teacher's birthday.... contact masih kah!

Babu will be leaving for KL tomorow (Monday) with aunty RMS. We are attending a conference at Marriot Hotel at Putrajaya. Our papers are scheduled on Wednesday petang and after that we plan to ronda-ronda KL.
