Yesterday, 12 Rabiul Awal corresponding to 9 march 2009, it was a public holidaybin Brunei as the Muslims thoughout the world celebrated our Prophet Muhammad's (SAW)birthday. Nabi Muhammad lahir dan wafat pada hari dan bulan yang sama. As for bapa and babu, we were in KB for the Maulud. It was raining in KB but only renyai-renyai and so the procession for the males went on as planned. While laki-laki jalan, the ladies had their show like zikir, nasyid and puisi recital. It was very well planned. Bila siap perarakan bapa basah baju sikit but basah seluar banyak coz kena air splased di jalan but bajunya inda berapa basah coz ia kena payungi, he, he....
Afan mula-mula kan celebrate Maulud di bandar with Arif but babu thought jangan tah coz ia ngalih lapas tidur di pantai and badannya banyak merah-merah kena gigit insects kali. So babu and bapa left home around 5.30 am for KB and only balik yesterday around 5 pm coz after lunch kami ngalih and "tetidur" di KB until 3 pm, baik jua zohor alum habis. Afan had his Maths tuition yesterday from 2.30 - 4pm and since Jilah tingal sorang di rumah (though kaka ada) as ia selalu complained ia tingal solo-solo di rumah, babu "suruh" Jilah jalan with Hanis while nunggu Afan tuition. So she went to the Mall with Hanis. When babu and bapa sampai rumah diorang Afan and Jilah alum datang. Babu msg, rupanya singgah lagi kedai Mubarak.
Balik Serasa we thought Aqil ada udah but alum....... bapa balik-balik tanya kul berapa Aqil datang.... coz he said ia kan dangar Aqil nangis... apalah bapa ah?......after a loooong wait, Aqil datang around 9 pm but babu jalan to rumah anti Nab coz ada dikir maulud, Jilah, kaka and abg Rinan jalan beli groceries. So only Afan and bapa nunggu Aqil di rumah. When babu reached home around 10pm Aqil was still bangun... so sempat main-main with Aqil... ia pandai cerita-cerita... and so kami pura-pura faham ceritanya lah.... he, he...He was supposed to be tidur udah.... sekali after a while, mengamuk tia kan tidur. So balikkan arah mummynya..... baru tia aman damai coz mulutnya kena sumbat puting, hu hu....
Bapa sms bapa Liya and he agreed to bawakan Izyan a cartoon of indo mee. Hope it will last till June and be aware that indo mee is not good to be eaten everyday. Memberi sakit perut tu.... not now.... but later in your life. So this is a health warning to indo mee lovers!!!
Saturday nite when Afan tidur di pantai, Kaka, abg Rinan and Jilah liat movie "Watchman"? late show and they only reached home around 3 am!! BTW watchman atu nini Muara punya last job until ia retired tu. Ia jadi watch man di JKR transport pool di Tasik lama and them moved to the old airport area. Ia ada 3 shifts i.e 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am. The shift was week by week . So if nini keraja malam, uncle Japar antar ia dari Serasa and it was an obligation for Uncle Japar to singgah rumah tani di Serusop (near Maktab Sains) just to drop some keropok and other snacks (a.k.a junk food!) for kaka and abang. So kaka and abang pun like conditioned to it and malam-malam tunggu uncle Japar to drop by... he, he.... say thank to uncle Japar. At that time kaka was like 5 years plus and abang 3 years plus (1988- 1989) and Izyan belum lahir.
Sunday, bapa awal to KB coz ada briefing di Labi. Babu went to my taici fun di pantai Serasa, beli ikan di pantai and antar Jilah to tuition. While Jilah tuition , babu arah orang kawin di Manggis. Met bapa punya siblings there including tua. Then it was already 12 noon and babu had to rush off to fetch Jilah without waiting for the makan... takut Jilah kena kidnap, he, he.....
Malamnya ada penutup zikir di rumah Ketua Kampong Serasa while bapa attended the same function di Masjid Lambak. Abang was on his fishing trip at Danau, Tutong and he caught a 2 kilo ikan pari as in the photo posted earlier by LB.
